Erickson Insurance Service was formed in November 2006. Since our inception we have helped many new clients with their insurance needs. Erickson Insurance Service strives to offer quality insurance products at competitive prices with unmatched customer service.

David Erickson, owner of Erickson Insurance Service is a 1998 graduate of East Tennessee State University with a degree in business administration. David has been in insurance since early 2000. During his time in insurance he has developed knowledge and expertise in many different areas of insurance. He currently holds his A.A.I. designation (Accredited Advisor of Insurance) and his C.I.C. designation (Certified Insurance Counselor). David feels continuing education is a necessity in today’s ever changing insurance environment.

David is also very active in his community and is proud to be a past-president of the Erwin, TN Kiwanis Club, an international club dedicated to helping the needy children of the world. He currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Chamber of Commerce, Kiwanis Club, and the United Way. He is also a graduate of the 2004 Unicoi Leadership Class. David, his wife Lori, and kids are also active in their church, Central Church of Christ in Johnson City. 

Amanda Hope joined Erickson Insurance Service in late 2009.  Amanda has several years of insurance experience and has previously worked for a large independent agency with jobs ranging from commercial lines CSR to claims administration.  She is licensed to sell home, auto, and business insurance.  Amanda is dedicated to providing the high level of customer service that is paramount to our agency’s success.
