Many of the carriers we quote against are sustaining hefty rate hikes in an attempt to stay ahead of the homeowners insurance curve.  April storms have really hurt the profitability of many insurance companies. Unless you have allergies, you probably love springtime in Tennessee.  It won’t be long before everything is in full bloom and yard and home projects will be in full swing.   Do you have the fever?

REMINDER - If you do any project that adds value to your home (i.e. room additions or a kitchen upgrade) keep in mind you will need to talk to your insurance advisor to discuss those changes.  It won’t cost much to remain properly insured and the phone call won’t take more than a few minutes.
